WORK DETAILS
In-office position, located at 129 West Avenue A, Hutchinson. Full-time, 36-40 hours per week, office hours are 8-5pm, Monday - Friday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Staffing Specialist, is an integral part of Heartland's hiring strategy, leading full-cycle recruiting, building strong talent pipelines, and enhancing the candidate experience. Partnering with hiring managers across departments to attract diverse, high-quality talent while ensuring a seamless hiring process.
✅ Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract passive and active talent.
✅ Serve as a trusted hiring partner to managers across all departments.
✅ Champion an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and engagement.
✅ Promote HCU's culture and commitment to diversity & inclusion in all hiring efforts.
✅ Maintain accurate data and analytics to track recruitment success.
✅ Strengthen partnerships with schools, staffing agencies, and job programs.
REQUIREMENTS
✅College degree; or equivalent experience.
✅At least one year to three years of experience in recruitment.
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✅ Self-motivated, self-starter, driven to succeed.
✅ Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
✅ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
✅ Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
✅ Ability to prioritize tasks.
✅ Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
✅ Able to operate related computer applications and PC.
✅ Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
✅ Flexible and open to change.
✅ Valid driver's license.
✅ Pass required background screenings.
✅ Required to sit, stand, and walk. Standing for extended periods of time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.
