Data Analyst Full-time 1 Position AvailableJob detailsJob type Full-timeFull job descriptionWe are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to support the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Administration on Children, Youth, and Families (ACYF) Children's Bureau (CB). This role contributes to the mission of planning, managing, coordinating, and supporting child abuse and neglect prevention and child welfare services programs while promoting continuous improvement in the delivery of child welfare services.ResponsibilitiesManage and support grantee profiles and clustersGuide data analysis and materials reviewProvide technical assistance on data qualityIntegrate varying-quality data from multiple sourcesUtilize tools such as SAS and/or Python for evaluationsContribute to reports on child and family outcomesCompile results, identify trends, and present best practicesPerform data analysis to support cross-site reportsContribute to annual reports and other deliverablesCollaborate effectively with team membersPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired:Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field5 years of experience analyzing and reporting data (experience with child welfare data a plus)5 years of experience in child welfare policy and program evaluation5 years of experience in child welfare technical assistance (TA), including report development for research audiencesExperience analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative dataDetail-oriented with strong ability to anticipate needs and problems and act proactivelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines5 years of experience working with grants (project development, management, and evaluation); experience with federal grants strongly preferred5 years of experience performing monitoring and evaluation activities3-6 years of experience working in community development in distressed communities, especially related to child welfareWorking knowledge of the MS Office Suite (especially Word and Excel)Preferred:Experience with ACF reporting toolsExperience with analytical programs such as Tableau, NVivo, or Power BIWorking knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Access, or similar softwareThis position is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong analytical expertise and a commitment to improving child welfare outcomes through high-quality data analysis and reporting.
