Job Summary
The Fleet Manager is responsible for managing fleet activities, budget, and operational assets.
Job Responsibilities
- Stewardship of assets including responsibility for the capital budget, enhancing asset life cycle and asset utilization.
- Leads and supports cross-functional projects and business strategies through creation of metrics and analysis.
- Manages operating budget and delivery of budget objectives.
- Responsible for the development of the team to enhance bench strength and improvement in quality service.
- Develop economical, service-oriented relationships with all service suppliers.
- Manage operations to ensure compliance according to Company policies, DOT, OSHA, and applicable safety regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, or a minimum of five years of progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required.
- Knowledge of operating budgets and capital plans required.
- Excellent analytical, customer service, problem solving, and decision making skills.
- Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA and related safety regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines.
