About the Role
The Registered Nurse provides leadership to the mental health treatment team during a designated shift through making patient assignments for responsibilities and activities and general supervision of programming, treatment, and direct care staff. If you want to experience this rewarding work environment and have not previously worked in behavioral health we will train you on-site!
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with a diploma or an associate degree, B.S.N. preferred.
- Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Missouri.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Professional Nursing.
- Strong communication skills and customer service oriented.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the psychiatric treatment of children and adolescents.

Heartland Behavioral Health has been providing care for children and adolescents for over 100 years in Nevada, Missouri. We treat male and female patients ages 4 through 17 in acute and ages 4 through 17 females in the residential programs for conditions ranging from depression, anxiety and other mood disorders to recovering from a traumatic event.
