Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a financial professional like you to provide outstanding customer service to clients in our Investments Division. As a Financial Consultant, you’ll work with clients selling brokerage and advisory service, utilizing your deep knowledge of financial markets and the client needs to determine and recommend appropriate investment strategies and products to meet the clients’ goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Day in the Life – Every day you’ll spend time face-to-face with clients, explaining and selling a broad range of investment products. Working with both new and existing clients, you’ll be responsible for opening and maintaining client accounts. Daily duties will include processing of customer requests and initiating and confirming client orders.
- You’re Part of a Team – You are a member of the Investments team with a well-established customer base. You’ll work closely with your fellow advisors, sales assistants, and management daily. You will also collaborate across business lines with the banking and wealth advisory teams to serve all of the client’s financial needs.
What it Takes:
- FINRA registrations (Series 7 and 63/65, or 66 securities licenses, life and health insurance license)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to: communicate effectively (written and verbally), maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly, and work independently and as a team member.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
