Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale Operator to join our team in a fast-paced mining environment. The Scale Operator will be responsible for accurately weighing and recording the weight of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.
Duties
- Operate and maintain scale equipment to weigh products accurately.
- Record weight data into the Fastweigh Software ensuring accurate information to bill customers correctly .
- Communicate via radio with Loader operators.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of orders.
- Perform basic math calculations to verify weights and quantities.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Experience operating scales is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for accurate calculations of weights and quantities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office programs.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and reporting.
