Dietary Manager – Full-Time (Hourly)
Hearthstone Village Memory Care – Kootenai, Idaho
Hearthstone Village Memory Care is seeking an organized, dependable, and knowledgeable Dietary Manager to oversee kitchen operations, staff management, food service quality, and regulatory compliance within our Memory Care community.
This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising dietary staff, ensuring safe food handling practices, and supporting resident satisfaction with meals.
Hearthstone Village will transition to new ownership and management effective April 1, 2026. We are building a structured leadership team focused on improving systems, supporting staff, and enhancing resident dining services.
This role supports a 7-day food service operation.
Position Details
- Full-Time Hourly Position * Location: Kootenai, Idaho * Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM * Weekends and holidays may be required based on operational needs * Hands-on leadership role within the kitchen
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen and dining operations * Manage, schedule, and supervise dietary staff * Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of kitchen staff * Ensure compliance with Idaho food service and senior living regulations * Maintain safe food handling, sanitation, and infection control practices * Plan menus and support modified diet needs * Monitor food ordering, inventory, and cost control * Participate in resident council feedback and quality improvement * Maintain a calm, structured dining environment appropriate for Memory Care residents
Qualifications
- Food Protection Manager Certification required * Senior living or healthcare dietary experience required * Management or supervisory experience preferred * Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards * Strong organizational and communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Must pass background check and meet Idaho requirements
Compensation
