No previous fireplace experience is required, however, a proven construction experience is required. Learn a specialized trade. We will provide the necessary experiential and factory training and assist you in obtaining industry licenses. The successful candidate will be a self starter, reliable, a quick learner, have good mechanical and communications skills, a stable work history and a good driving record and pass a background check. Candidate must be a team player, customer focused and a "whatever it takes to make it right" mindset.
This is YEAR ROUND employment.
Fireplace Installer/Construction (2 yrs exp req)
Responsibilities and Duties
- As part of 2 member installation crew, install hearth & patio products on customer site
- Ensure that assigned jobs are done professionally and safely
- Maintain communication with customers and direct manager
- Work with team member smoothly and cooperatively to ensure efficient work flow and customer satisfaction
- Maintain equipment and vehicles professionally
- Maintain safe working habits at all times
Qualifications of successful candidate will have working experience in any of the following:
- construction skills
- roofing
- framing
- HVAC
- gas
- electric
- Problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot
- Capable of lifting 80 pounds
- Has a good driving record
- Pass a background check
- Is organized and goal focused
- Able to read and understand installation instructions and manuals
- Comfortable on roofs and ladders
- Familiar with hand tools and hand-held power tools
- Able to work Saturdays during our busy season (Sept-Feb)
