HEARTHSIDE FIREPLACE & GARAGE DOORS is looking to add experienced Garage Door Installers to our growing New Construction (Northbridge, MA) and Retail Garage Door Divisions (Lincoln, RI).

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Garage Door Installer & Service Technician to join our team. This position offers a solid mix of new construction, replacement, and residential service work, with opportunities to earn commission on top of your base salary!

Qualified candidates must have a minimum 1-3-years of garage door experience. Strong computer skills a must. Wages range between $20-30/hour depending on experience and skills.

All candidates must pass a background check.

This is a Full-time Year Round position.

Responsibilities

• Install and adjust residential and commercial garage doors, tracks, rollers, and springs, ensuring smooth operation and proper alignment.
• Measure spaces, read blueprints or schematics, and verify door dimensions; verify electrical components and wiring as needed.
• Secure doors to frames, hang panels, and perform trim carpentry or frame carpentry as required for a clean, code-compliant fit.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, fasten, and test hardware; fabricate minor components when necessary.
• Conduct safety inspections, adhere to building codes, and communicate with customers to provide project updates and solutions.
