- Starting Pay:$24.00 per hour
- Shift Details:6:00 am- 4:30 pm (core hours)
- Monday - Thursday
- OT as needed
- Anticipated End Date: 12/23/2025
Welder Duties / Requirements
- Mig Welding
- Basic welds - Flat & vertical down
- Welding steel & sheet metal
- Perform welding applications by applying appropriate welding techniques via the use of a wire welder.
- Demonstrate knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the welding field.
- Work includes set-up, laying out work using jigs/fixtures or hand layouts to fabricate parts, stoves or fireplace products.
- Prepare metal surfaces for welding activities.
- Perform assembly processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, as well as electronic and pneumatic tooling.
- Inspect welded joints using visual inspection and correct welds as necessary to meet quality standards.
