The goal is to deliver targeted, effective communications that enhance member experience and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Member Communications
- Develop and maintain internal communication calendars, integrating campaigns across digital, print, social media, and in-person channels.
- Design, write and edit communications content tailored to diverse internal audiences, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.
- Continuously improving member communications by applying knowledge of communication strategies and through regular analysis of effectiveness.
- Overall member meeting approach and coordinate meetings, including the President’s town hall, quarterly leadership meetings, and direct site-level meetings.
- Oversee the Achievers member recognition program, including creation of member engagement strategies.
- Monitor employee feedback and engagement metrics; recommend adjustments and improvements based on insights.
- Recommends initiatives that promote employee engagement, culture, and advocacy, aligning efforts across various formats (e.g. events, recognition programs, and multi-media content)
- Partners with Talent Acquisition, assisting with recruitment communications that reflect the employee experience and support talent attraction efforts.
- Maintain and evolve employment brand guidelines for internal and external consistency.
- Segment audiences and develop personas to ensure targeted and relative communications that best reach, engage, and drive behavioral changes and adaptation of communications for current and perspective members.
- Enhance the internal digital experience by managing intranet content, internal social platforms, and collaboration tools related to member communications and engagement.
- Track and analyze communication effectiveness to inform ongoing improvements and reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop communication plans for organizational transformations, ensuring clarity, transparency, and support for impacted employees.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field.
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or employer branding roles.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content for a variety of audiences and stakeholders within large, complex organizations.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and digital communication tools
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to understand audience needs and develop communications that drive engagement and action.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
- Data-driven approach to measuring engagement and communication effectiveness.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience supporting communications programs within large, complex organizations.
- Experience working within Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) or a similar complex organization is preferred. Knowledge of HHT’s organizational culture, business priorities, and stakeholder dynamics is highly valued.
- Experience supporting organizational change through effective employee communications.
- Ability to craft clear, thoughtful communications for sensitive or high-impact situations while maintaining trust, transparency, and professionalism.
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
