Direct Support Professional (DSP)- Overnight Shift

Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Schedule: Friday through Monday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Overnight/3rd Shift)

Pay: $17 an hour

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide overnight assistance to an individual with disabilities in their home. This position is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to helping others, while ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, toileting, and grooming.
• Safely assist with transfers using proper techniques and equipment as needed
• Perform light housekeeping, including tidying living areas, washing dishes, and doing laundry as needed
• Organize and restock medical and personal care supplies
• Monitor for safety and respond appropriately to overnight needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful home environment
• Document care provided and communicate any concerns or changes

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving, DSP, CNA, or home health experience is preferred but not required
• Reliable, punctual, and compassionate
• Ability to safely assist with transfers
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and provide respectful, person-centered care
• Background check and drug screening required
• Valid Driver's License
