School Age Teacher

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for young children to explore, learn, and grow. We are actively seeking a School Age Teacher for our Clarkston campus. In this role you will be responsible for providing a safe welcoming classroom for children from kindergarten through fifth grade who attend Heartfelt before and after their elementary school day.

Job Details

• Regular, part-time
• Schedule, Monday-Friday 12pm-6pm
• Pay range $14-$18/hour (based on certification, degree, or years of experience)
• Location, on site Clarkston, MI
  
  

Requirements:

• Must Minimum age of 18 years old
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license with chauffer’s endorsement required to drive the 14-passenger bus (highly desired and company reimburses cost)
• Background check (fingerprinting required)
• CPR/First Aid Trained (can be completed after hire)

Essential Functions

• Communicates openly with both parents and staff
• Provides active supervision at all times
• Activity planning (indoor and outdoor)
• Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions
• Feeding the children their afternoon snack
• Building respectful relationships in the classroom
• Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
• Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
