Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is hiring individuals seeking their first teaching opportunity in early childhood education. As a GSRP (PreK) floater/breaker you will gain hands-on experience in the classroom setting. Under the direction and guidance of a Lead GSRP Teacher, you will gain knowledge of the High Scope curriculum and be provided with professional development opportunities to advance in the company.

-Communicates openly with both parents and staff
-Ensures overall safety of children
-Support lead and assistant teacher
-Conduct classroom in accordance with HighScope philosophy and practices
-Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
-Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
-Participate in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
-Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
-Provide 1:1 attention with children as needed
-Participates in outdoor activities
-Supervise and ensure safety and well-being of the children and all times
-Share feedback and suggestions with Lead Teacher as needed
-Must be able to provide a loving, caring, and nurturing teaching approach/relationship with the children
-Must be able to be patient and incorporate multitasking into the daily routine
-Physically able to lift 15 pounds

Position Detail:
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
- Desired start: ASAP
- Pay range $15-$18/hour (additional compensation $18/hour while driving the 14-passenger bus)
- Onsite, Lake Orion, Michigan
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- CPR certification is required (can be completed after hire)
- Previous experience as a private Nanny or in a childcare setting is preferred
- Must be able to pass a background screening including fingerprinting
- Willing and able to obtain a chauffer’s license to drive to the 14-passenger school bus for additional compensation
