Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers is dedicated to creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and students. We are actively seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Clarkston team as a part-time custodian.
Our custodians are responsible for keeping the centers clean and in an orderly fashion. You will be required to perform light and heavy-duty cleaning daily to maintain the standard of cleanliness that parents expect for their children.

Our custodians are responsible for keeping the centers clean and in an orderly fashion. You will be required to perform light and heavy-duty cleaning daily to maintain the standard of cleanliness that parents expect for their children.
POSITION DETAIL:
- Regular, part-time (20-25 hours/week)
- Shift: Evenings, Monday-Thursday 6p-10p, plus one 4-hour shift on the weekend Friday, Saturday or Sunday
- Pay starting at $15/hour
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Having previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus.
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to complete a background check (conducted by Heartfelt Impressions)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash daily.
- Clean, scrub, and sanitize garbage cans that are soiled.
- Ensure all containers of poisonous or toxic chemicals are clearly labelled and stored away from child areas.
- Clean and stock restrooms daily.
- Nightly; sanitize tables, chairs, counters, bookshelves, floors, sinks, and toilets.
- Must follow OSHA procedures and licensing standards for handling of chemicals and toxic materials.
- check and dust for cobwebs daily.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- The ideal candidate will be thorough, conscientious, and observant.
- Must have the ability to work with and around children.
- Must be able to move around easily and bend or squat as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
