HeartcoR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Project Management to lead our Project Management team. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful execution of clinical studies related to cardiac safety and other physiological data collection.
Position Summary
The Director of Project Management manages the PM team and ensures departmental compliance with standard operating procedures for all activities related to clinical studies contracted by HeartcoR. The Director of Project Management will recommend updates to SOPs, as is warranted. This position is primarily responsible for assigning qualified team members to study projects contracted by HeartcoR. Additional priorities include communicating study requirements and collaborating with internal and sponsor stakeholders to successfully initiate, conduct and complete the projects. The Director of Project Management will review, understand and ensure that all of HeartcoR’ s contractual project management obligations are met during each study cycle
Primary Duties/Accountabilities
- Oversee the Project Management department, ensuring full compliance with SOPs, contractual obligations, and GCP standards.
- Assign qualified resources to study projects and ensure adequate staffing to meet timelines and deliverables.
- Provide oversight to confirm PM teams successfully complete study tasks and deliverables.
- Lead the development of project charters, kickoff meetings, and study start-up documentation.
- Ensure study protocol education is completed and documented prior to project initiation.
- Serve as an escalation point for study-related issues; communicate and resolve efficiently with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Quality & Compliance, QC, IT, and Finance) to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Work with SMEs to support the selection and implementation of devices and systems used by HeartcoR.
- Partner with Finance to support study billing reconciliation and department budget management.
- Partner with HR and leadership to project future staffing needs that align with company growth.
- Oversee site management and data collection coordination with internal and external teams.
- Monitor department performance metrics and prepare regular management reports.
- Evaluate and improve business processes to drive scalability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Quality & Compliance to address CAPAs, update QMS documentation, and support continuous improvement.
- Lead onboarding, training, and professional development for PM staff.
- Attend sponsor meetings, study reviews, and industry conferences as required.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related subject.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the core lab industry.
• Minimum 5 years Project Management experience required; PMP certification is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years team management experience.
• Extensive experience with successful core lab clinical study or related industry Project Management tasks and processes.
• Teambuilding experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing clinical study teams; capacity to evaluate and change processes as are dictated by differing study circumstances.
• Demonstrated understanding of revenue and profitability models.
• Experience planning project staffing.
• Experience developing, presenting, and explaining study-crucial key performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders. 3

• Experience onboarding new hires and mentoring staff.
