Schedule
- Monday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Wednesday: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Thursday: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, patient, and enthusiastic After-School Tutor to join our team. This position is ideal for a high school senior, college student, aspiring teacher, retired educator, or anyone who enjoys working with children and making a positive difference.
No teaching degree or tutoring experience is required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students individually and in small groups.
- Assist with homework assignments.
- Reinforce reading, math, and other academic skills.
- Encourage positive study habits and confidence.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and organized learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with the owner regarding student progress and attendance.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- High school diploma or currently a high school senior preferred.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willing to learn and accept feedback.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check if requested.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
