Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patient behavior and progress according to care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance individuals' well-being.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Engage individuals in recreational activities that promote social interaction and skill development.
- Observe and report any changes in individuals' conditions or behaviors to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in working in group homes or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to lift and assist clients as needed, demonstrating physical capability for the role.
