What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vascular Ultrasound Technologist - PRN position at HEART SOUTH CARDIOVASCULAR GROUP PC?
- Conduct job duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Performs/complete adult vascular ultrasounds
- Maintains CE requirements for the ICAEL accreditation.
- Reports to Lead Tech for clinical application needs and Non-Invasive Testing Manager for administrative needs.
- Perform computer acquisition and processing of data and images for interpretation by cardiologists in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and the company’s established policy and procedure.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Adhere to compliance policies and procedures. Report any incident that appears/deficient to the department supervisor/manager.
- Perform work-related duties as directed. The job duties and responsibilities of the ultrasound technologist include but are not limited to the previously described areas of duties and responsibilities.
- Ensure proper operation of equipment and performance of all studies.
- Properly complete patient’s billing sheet to include appropriate CPT codes and ICD codes specific to the ordered diagnostic testing.
- RCS, BLS, RDMS certifications required within one year of hire.
