Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and skill development
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to inform treatment adjustments and ensure effective outcomes
- Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching communication, social, academic, and life skills in engaging ways
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop and update client-specific treatment goals aligned with their needs
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning, independence, and emotional well-being
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Excellent communication skills to effectively teach and motivate clients of varying ages and abilities
- Ability to collect detailed data accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
