Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality behavioral health services to children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders. Job Duties

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment plans.
  • Provide direct support to clients with developmental disabilities, focusing on improving their social, communication, and daily living skills
  • Support clients through direct behavioral therapy sessions, utilizing techniques rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Document medical records, session notes, and progress reports while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality.
  • Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting client interactions and progress in medical records
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to foster a collaborative approach to care and behavioral support.
  • Provide home-based behavioral interventions when required, ensuring consistency across environments for optimal outcomes.

Requirements & Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, individuals on the autism spectrum, or those with neurodevelopment disorders is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and medical documentation practices related to behavioral health is a plus
  • Experience implementing ABA therapy protocols and behavior management techniques in clinical or home settings is a plus
  • Familiarity with special education environments or school-based support roles
  • Previous detailed behavioral data experience and ability to accurately collect it. Familiarity with data collection methods used in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life are essential traits for success in this role.
  • Ability to drive to multiple locations as necessary
