What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time to Full-time Cook position at Heart Ridge LLC?
Part-time to full-time. Up to 40 hours. The cook will prepare and serve the meals to the retreatants on most weekends during the year. Depending on experience, the cook will either take complete charge of the kitchen or be an assistant to the current cook.
- Must have experience in a kitchen with large groups
- Have Food Safety Training or are willing to get it
- Be extremely organized and efficient
- Healthy, fit and able to work long hours
- Keep a clean workspace, pantry, and cafeteria
- Most importantly--be able to be kind and generous to the guests
Pay will be commensurate to experience ($15-$25 per hour) and other compensations that we can provide like housing.
We are very seldom open on holidays, so most holidays will be off!
