Your Role As Partner Veterinarian

As the primary leader at South Peak Veterinary Hospital, you will oversee the center’s daily operations, quality of care, and client experience. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team to deliver high-quality, client-focused veterinary services.
  • Promoting preventive care and ensuring compliance with veterinary standards and Heart Paw protocols.
  • Acting as a role model and brand champion for Heart Paw within the community.
  • Guiding and mentoring associate veterinarians and support staff to enhance skills and patient care.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, utilizing technology for telemedicine, texting, and email.
  • Collaborating with the Center Director to manage team hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Participating in planning, budgeting, and financial performance reviews, sharing insights with Heart Paw leadership.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary medical degree with a license in good standing with the applicable state board.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of clinical experience and a strong client-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and an interest in practice ownership.
  • Proven ability to build and retain a loyal client base through exceptional service.
  • Interest in leveraging technology to advance veterinary practices and improve the client/pet experience.
  • Highly collaborative with strong business acumen, financial insights, and a consumer-centric mindset.
  • Fear Free and HABRI certification (or a desire to obtain these).

The pay range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position and is determined based on experience, skill set, location and other factors.

Pay Range: $135,000 USD - $165,000 USD
