Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or within a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Provide daily directions and guidance to support staff.
- Assist with internal assignments and coordination of daily responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary in-department trainer for all aspects of the EHR system.
- Obtain and maintain EHR Superuser status.
- Support staff education, workflow consistency, and effective use of the EHR.
The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for the following:
- Collaborates with the supervisor to coordinate daily staff assignments.
- Ensures clinical support staff follow applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinates training for non-provider staff as needed, both on-site and off-site.
- Serves as the clinic’s primary EHR Superuser, providing hands-on training, mentoring, and support to staff.Coaches staff on EHR standards and recommends workflow improvements based on clinical staff feedback.
