Inpatient Pharmacy Tech needed to work PRN - this position will be eligible for an 8% pay differential.

Requirements

The Pharmacy Technician supports our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, packaging, labeling, and delivery of medications, as well as ensure the safe storage of drugs and devices. This position operates under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and in accordance with Colorado state law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing, mixing, assembling, and packaging medications.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and proper documentation of all drugs and devices.
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy storage and safety regulations.
  • Organize and update records to ensure proper tracking of medications.
  • Support daily operations to improve efficiency and patient care.

  • Must demonstrate high level of detail orientation

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience is required.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • A certification or provisional certification from the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy is required.
  • The provisional certification allows 18 months for the Pharmacy Technician to obtain certification by a board-approved, nationally-recognized organization that certifies pharmacy technicians.
