The Perioperative Clinical Educator serves as the clinical education leader for Surgical Services, supporting professional development, competency validation, onboarding, continuing education, and evidence-based practice initiatives for perioperative staff.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Maintain a current active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
Maintain The Following Certifications
The Perioperative Clinical Educator leads education, training, orientation, and competency programs across Surgical Services, including the OR, Sterile Processing, Same Day Surgery, PACU, and Endoscopy. This role coordinates the Perioperative 101 program, supports staff development and evidence-based practice initiatives, and serves as a clinical expert and consultant for staff, physicians, patients, and families. The educator promotes professional excellence, evaluates educational outcomes, and helps ensure high-quality, safe patient care throughout the perioperative continuum.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Minimum of Associates Degree in Nursing from accredited nursing program;
- BSN preferred
- 3 years OR experience
- 2 years of clinical education experience preferred.
Maintain a current active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
Maintain The Following Certifications
- BLS-CPR for Healthcare Provider
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
