Requirements
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Colorado (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certification through an accredited national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA, etc.).
- Minimum 1–2 years of surgical or related clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotations in surgical care are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of general surgery patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct pre-op and post-op visits, wound assessments, and follow-up care under physician supervision.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to ensure continuity of care and excellent patient outcomes.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.
