- Support cleaning duties such as bussing tables, sanitizing kitchen surfaces, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting.
- Help with food storage, inventory management, and organization within the dietary department.
- Follow all procedures related to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and dietary team members to meet individual resident needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, serving, and sanitation practices.
- Strong time management skills to handle meal schedules efficiently.
- Experience with dietary department operations or dietary aide roles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
