Position Overview
We are looking for a multi-functional team member to serve as the face of our practice and play a key role in both patient experience and administrative operations.
This role combines front desk coordination, treatment planning, and insurance verification, making it ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and confident discussing treatment and finances with patients.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Experience
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
- Manage patient check-in/check-out efficiently
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries
- Maintain a polished and organized front office
Treatment Coordination
- Present treatment plans clearly and confidently
- Discuss financial options and payment plans with patients
- Help patients understand the value of recommended care
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment
Insurance Coordination
- Verify patient insurance benefits prior to appointments
- Submit and track insurance claims
- Communicate coverage and estimates to patients
- Troubleshoot claim issues and follow up on outstanding balances
Qualifications
- Previous dental office experience required (front desk, treatment coordinator, or insurance role)
- Strong understanding of dental insurance and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable discussing finances and treatment with patients
- Experience with dental software (Open Dental preferred but not required)
