Experienced Personal Care Aide / Office Coordinator
Position Summary:
Heart of Grace Home Care is seeking a part-time experienced and dependable Personal Care Aide / Office Coordinator to join our team. This position in and around Jones & Jasper counties combines direct patient care with office and community outreach responsibilities. The primary priority of this role is ensuring quality patient care while assisting with administrative and marketing functions that support agency growth.
Responsibilities:
Patient Care Duties (Primary Responsibility):
- Provide compassionate in-home care to clients.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, and other activities of daily living.
- Provide care for bedridden clients.
- Perform occupied bed changes.
- Safely utilize Hoyer lifts and other transfer equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client services.
- Cover direct care shifts in clients' homes as needed.
- Mandatory work every other weekend providing direct care services.
Office & Community Outreach Duties:
- Data entry and record maintenance.
- Filing and organizing client and employee paperwork.
- Assist with marketing and advertising initiatives.
- Build and maintain community relationships.
- Attend networking events, health fairs, job fairs, and community outreach activities.
- Assist with client intake and administrative tasks.
- Support office operations and other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience preferred.
- Must be experienced with bedridden clients.
- Must be proficient in Hoyer lift usage.
- Must be able to perform occupied bed changes.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills required.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Reliable childcare required.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
