Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily maintenance and repair of the facility, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the life of facility assets

• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests from residents, staff, and management

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems

• Supervise and train maintenance staff, including scheduling and assigning tasks

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logs, invoices, and inventory management

• Collaborate with other departments, such as administration, nursing, and dietary, to ensure seamless facility operations

• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including ordering supplies and equipment

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards, including OSHA, HIPAA, and Joint Commission

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry principles and practices

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and management

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
