Heart, Mind, Body LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services, including psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapy to patients across the lifespan. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care that emphasizes holistic wellness, integrating mental, emotional, and physical health.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring efficacy and side effects.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling as appropriate.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with best practices and research in psychiatric care.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with Psychiatric Mental Health specialization.
- Active PMHNP certification and valid state nurse practitioner license.
- Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, psychopharmacology, and therapeutic techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and adherence to ethical standards.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
- Ability to utilize electronic health record systems proficiently.
Heart, Mind, Body LLC is the perfect fit for a PMHNP that is looking to grow their own clientele but do not want the work of marketing, credentialing and scheduling clients. It leaves the clinician free to tell us what hours they want to fill, full-time, part-time or per-diem. We provide the marketing, EMR, billing and send you your payments on the first and 16th day of the month. We also provide mentoring, if needed.
