Overview
The Licensed Vocational (LVN) provides direct skilled nursing care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the Plan of Care and regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide direct pediatric nursing care under RN supervision
- Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and enteral feeding
- Administer medications as ordered
- Monitor and document patient status
- Report changes in condition to the RN and physician
- Maintain infection control and safety standards
- Participate in skills validation and competency assessments
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered LVN license
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to follow care plans and work under supervision
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, move, or transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and assist patients as required
Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
