Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This role is responsible for maintaining the property, completing repairs, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel
- Complete painting, patching, and minor carpentry work
- Handle basic plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixtures)
- Perform basic electrical work (lighting, outlets, troubleshooting)
- Respond to guest maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Inspect and maintain equipment, tools, and building systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely and up to standard
Qualifications:
- Experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible schedule, including weekends if needed
Preferred Skills:
- Basic HVAC knowledge a plus
- Previous hospitality experience
