We are a warm, involved family located on a beautiful farm in Purcellville, VA. Our home is active and full of life—we have multiple animals, including four dogs, so comfort around animals is a must.
Mom is a BCBA and business owner, so we are looking for a reliable, proactive caregiver who can provide consistent, high-quality support.
About the Child
- 14-year-old male
- Very tall and physically active
- Minimally verbal (uses few words)
- Thrives with structure and routine
- Currently receiving ABA and respite services
Responsibilities
- Provide structured, engaging support in the home and community
- Assist with daily routines and activities
- Support communication and behavior strategies
- Collaborate with parents and existing therapy team
- Help maintain a safe, positive environment
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience working with teens with autism or developmental disabilities
- Experience supporting male clients preferred
- Male candidates tend to be a great fit, but open to strong female candidates
- Energetic, outgoing, and confident
- Comfortable in a busy, sometimes chaotic home environment
- Must be comfortable around dogs and farm life
- Reliable, patient, and proactive
