About the Role
Heart-Centered Health is seeking a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) to provide on-site behavioral health services at a residential vocational training campus serving young adults (ages 16–24).
This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role where you are not just providing therapy - you are part of a multidisciplinary team shaping outcomes for youth at a critical life stage.
You will work alongside:
- Medical providers
- Wellness staff
- Case management teams
- Residential advisors

- You may be the only consistent clinical support they’ve had. Together with the integrated healthcare team, you are able to build trust and rapport with the individual
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Conduct mental health assessments and treatment planning
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Support crisis intervention and stabilization when needed
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation
- Collaborate with center leadership and wellness staff
Schedule Options
Full-Time
- Monday–Friday
- 40 hours/week
Part-Time
- 20 hours/week
- Flexible scheduling (2 days/week)
Compensation
- $60/hour to $95/hr (DOE structure)
- We are willing to pay for quality
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Washington State license: LICSW or Psychologist
- Experience working with: Adolescents or young adults
- Behavioral health and/or trauma-informed care
- Ability to pass background check and facility requirements
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience in residential or school settings
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Background in crisis work
- Ability to balance structure with flexibility
