At Heart Care Centers of Illinois, we’re looking for a compassionate and proactive full-time Registered Nurse at our busy Palos Park, IL outpatient clinic. This is an excellent opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and providers while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. This role can choose either a 5 day, 8.5 hour workday or 4 day, 10 hour workday.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as a key clinical resource by triaging patient calls, assessing symptoms, and determining appropriate care pathways
- Educate and support patients by clearly explaining test results and next steps following physician review
- Coordinate and schedule cardiac procedures and diagnostic testing, including insurance pre-authorizations
- Supervise on-site stress testing in accordance with clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
What You Bring
- Active Illinois RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 year of nursing experience (cardiology, ER, ICU, telemetry, or outpatient specialty preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and triage skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
