Heart Care Centers of Illinois is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and bilingual (Spanish/English) Patient Representative to join our busy Berwyn clinic. As the first person our patients see and speak with, you'll play an essential role in creating a positive experience while ensuring our front office runs smoothly and efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients with professionalism and compassion.
- Register patients accurately and verify insurance information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and diagnostic testing.
- Check patients in and out efficiently.
- Collect co-pays, account balances, and referrals according to clinic procedures.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Track patient encounter forms through the billing process.
- Protect patient privacy by maintaining strict confidentiality.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is preferred.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to helping patients.
