Job Requirements:
We are looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join the healthcare team. The role involves drawing blood from patients for medical tests, donations, or research, ensuring proper specimen handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and skin punctures.
- Label and handle blood samples accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and follow safety protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and verify information.
Required Education & Work Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year's phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
- Minimum 6 months in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
