What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Blue Ridge position at Heart and Vascular Care Inc?
We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in Blue Ridge!
At HVC we invest in you and your career growth by conducting monthly lunch n’ learns, reimbursing certification costs for any job required certifications as well as providing scrubs.

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Full triage
- Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
- EKG's
- Recording and updating patient information
- Chart prep
- Phlebotomy
- Medication refills
- Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
Requirements:
- Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)
