What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exercise Physiologist position at Heart and Vascular Care Inc?
We are hiring a Exercise Physiologist for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team at our HWY9 Cumming Office!

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Monitor and motivate patients as they perform their rehabilitative exercises
- Customize and design exercise programs for patients
- Monitor patient health statistics: blood pressure, heart rates, EKG’s
- Track patient sessions completed and their progress through program
- Ensure patients attend all ICR sessions; follow up individually and motivate as-needed
- Produces stress test tracings of good quality using proper techniques
- Recognizes arrhythmias and notifies the appropriate person if needed
- Ensures that equipment is kept clean and notifies the Manager of any difficulties with equipment
- Travel to other HVC locations if needed. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices
Requirements:
- Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Maintain a positive attitude with patients and co-workers under all conditions
- Sustain excellent attendance and avoid excessive absences and/or tardiness
- BLS certification, Exercise Physiology degree.
