What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiac Sonographer position at Heart and Vascular Care Inc?
We have an exciting opportunity for a cardiac sonographer to join our growing team in our Cumming office!

Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8-5, no nights or weekends.
Must be ARDMS or CCI certified.
Ultrasound technologist responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Prepares and maintains diagnostic imaging equipment for testing daily
- Performs cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound of the heart chambers, valves, and vessels
- Analyze the recorded images for the physician to review
- Prepare patients for procedure by taking patient’s medical history and answering any questions about the procedure
- Acquires and analyzes data using diagnostic medical ultrasound and related technology
- Check images to verify adequate information was gathered for diagnosis
- Download findings and patient information accurately in Athena
Requirements:
- Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- ARDMS or CCI Certification required.
- Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
