Role Description: The Occupational Therapist position is a full-time, on-site role based in Trinity, FL. This role involves evaluating pediatric clients, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address sensory, motor, and daily living skill challenges. Day-to-day responsibilities include direct treatment sessions, documentation of progress, coordination of care with other therapists and healthcare providers, and ongoing communication with families about goals and home programs.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with experience designing and implementing pediatric treatment plans.
- Knowledge of Pediatrics and Medicine as they relate to child development, functional performance, and family-centered care.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and team members, and for documenting clinical services clearly.
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Florida.
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience in pediatric outpatient or clinic settings preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and maintain professional, ethical practice standards.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and use of evidence-based interventions.
