What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prepress Operator position at Hearst Media Services?
- Organizing, reviewing and proofing customer files in preparation for print.
**Minimal file modification of customer files may be necessary in certain circumstances
- Uploading files to our Prepress Workflow program – NewswayX
- Maintain strong line of communication with print management, the press team, pagination department and Creative Services
- Maintaining cleanliness on CTP machines
- General maintenance when errors arise on CTP machines
- Troubleshooting both computers and machine errors.
