Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Forklift Operator, located in Romulus, MI. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials and goods within the facility, as well as managing shipping, receiving, and unloading tasks. Daily responsibilities also include material handling, packing, and maintaining adherence to safety standards while ensuring efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively
- Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving and Unloading processes
- Experience in Material Handling and Packing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Familiarity with inventory systems or basic computer skills is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy items as required
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
