Hiring ALL-SHIFTS Experienced Warehouse Supervisor
Multiple Hearn Facilities, Taylor 1 (Northline/Allen rd.) Taylor 2 (Northline/Beech Daly) and Canton (Haggerty/Mich Ave)
Key Job Elements:
- Manage approx. 20-25 people, including Truck Drivers, in a fast paced Automotive-Industry Warehouse.
- Lead and manage the workforce performing Receiving, Put-Away, Picking, Shipping, Repack, Inspection, Rework, Sequencing, Containment and Shuttling to Customer.
- Manage Labor Hours/OT, and Drive for efficiency.
- Corrective not Punitive Leadership, with a fair and firm approach, Servant Leadership Mentality-Culture Improvements
- Experience with Continuous Improvement Projects
- Understanding of Key Safety and Awareness Operations and Processes
- Understanding or Quality Process and Standards, including Auditing Process
Looking for the following:
- Supervision Job experience with a proven track record of front line supervision.
- Able to demonstrate accountability and Leadership
- Business agility required to manage labor in a Union and Non-union Environment
- Professional , Organized, soft PC skills, experience with a WMS system, familiar with Scan technology
- Able to demonstrate leadership with confidence driving a team to conduct operational tasks.
- Multi-tasking, comfortable under pressure and customer demands.
- Experience managing Labor Hours and controlling procedures related to payroll.
- Ability to track and report out on Metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ability to Analyze data for trend analysis
- Knowledge of 5'S and Lean Warehousing/Manufacturing
Ideally Looking for someone with passion and an appetite to lead with a hands on approach in a fast paced automotive warehouse with the ability to drive home operational tasks maintaining max efficiency. Looking for someone that knows "Supervision 101" and who is ready to join this team to further develop the organization and develop personal leadership growth.
