We are seeking a full-time Au.D. audiologist for employment in a private practice setting. This individual must have a strong desire to enhance their career as a diagnostic and dispensing audiologist. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Strong Diagnostic Skills: Assess and diagnose hearing loss, middle ear function and site-of-lesion, using diagnostic tools appropriate to the patient’s ability and special needs. Case history, listening needs assessment, test results and progress notes will be documented.
· Counseling: Establish rapport with patients and their family members; discuss test results and counsel patients about treatment planning and make recommendations for hearing care solutions, tinnitus management and other healthcare options
· Treatment Planning: Develop individualized hearing and tinnitus solutions, including selection of hearing aids, devices, earmolds, wireless accessories and supplies. Make ear impressions, ear molds and all necessary measurements to order instruments
· Hearing Aid Dispensing: The treatment process will include fitting, instrument programming, orientation, software modification and repairs as needed. The audiologist will answer patients’ questions and address any problems and/or concerns
· Patient Care Management: Maintain and organize patient documents, files and computer records for easy, complete and confidential access through an Office Management System
· Participation: Contribute to the company’s success through community education and marketing activities
Qualifications:
- Education: Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.)
- Licensure and certifications: Audiologists must have an active license to practice in the state of South Carolina. Minimum requirements for continuing education apply.
- Experience: Completion of all doctoral level coursework, including 4th year clinical rotation. Educational degrees, diplomas and licensure will be verified. New graduates will be considered based on clinical and experiential career history.

· Previous experience in private practice is beneficial
· Proficiency with Office Management Software and hearing aid fitting software
