Audiology Research Associates is a highly regarded audiology practice, privately-owned with 40 years of clinical audiology services. Our team is looking for a full-time and experienced Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) who is career-oriented to join our team.

The PCC role’s three primary functions directly impact patient experience through effective and compassionate communication, exemplary service, and detailed administrative duties. To our patients you will be a trusted resource in their patient experience; whether you are scheduling their first appointment, following up with them on the status of repair, or welcoming them back for their fitting.

Duties

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new patients. Schedule initial consultations and facilitate the intake process.
  • Gather and qualify patient information, including personal details, medical history, and insurance coverage verification. Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Serve patients by answering routine questions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
  • Collect and verify patient insurance every visit. Assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities, ensure necessary authorizations are in place, and collect payment.
  • Complete forms providers need for patient fittings, testing and other office business.

Experience

  • 2 years of previous experience in medical/clinic office setting with knowledge of terminology, compliance, privacy laws, software, and equipment
  • Superb interpersonal communications skills and tact, both verbal and written, for internal, external, and patient communications
  • Become proficient in using EHR, charting/scribing, manufacturer systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially within insurance verification processes and transactions.

This office is currently open Monday-Thursday 8:30AM to 5:00PM and we are currently evaluating add Friday due to business growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
