Hearing Care Partners is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to train (on-the-job) as an Audiology Technician in our Farmington office location. Hearing Care Partners is an independent private audiology practice that is passionate about supporting the Parkland community. This position is full time, 35-40 hours per week. Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet patients
- Triage for audiologists
- Take phone calls that do not need an audiologist
- Walk-ins Hearing Aid Trouble Shooting
- Clean and checks
- Ear mold re-tubing
- Check warranties and send in aids that need repair
- Chart as appropriate
- Check-in aids and prepare fit packages
- Call patients to pick up repairs and/ or earmolds at window or schedule appointment as needed.
- Prep fit packages(put aids in bag with batteries, wax loop, dri-aid etc.)
- Assist in inventory of supplies
- Batteries
- Brochures
- Associated supplies
- Order Supplies
- Compile quarterly lists and order supplies
- Return For Credits (RFC’s)
- Return aids to manufacturer/print documents and invoice from EMR and give to Audiology Director
- Log info into the RFC tracking sheet
- Serve as Patient Care Coordinator as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be high school graduate. Prefer an Associate’s Degree in administrative, accounting, sales or patient oriented field or equivalent work experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, sales, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to organize time and prioritize numerous duties within strict deadlines
- Requires the ability to deal with numerous interruptions
- Must engage with patients in a caring and respectful manner
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have exceptional computer skills
- Must be able to travel outside the state for professional development opportunities as required by the practice
