DOTHAN, AL – We are hiring an AUDIOLOGIST to our practice that is patient centered. This will be for a full-time Audiologist interested in using their Au.D. to the fullest through research, diagnostics, treatment, and preservation. Hearing Associates of Dothan, LLC currently has 2 full-time audiologists, and we are looking to add an additional audiologist to our team! We are looking for someone comfortable with diagnostic testing for both pediatrics and adults, treatment options to include hearing aid counseling, fitting, and evaluation, as well as cochlear implant management, auditory processing disorders, and auditory training. Who we are:
· Hearing Associates of Dothan is an established practice that has been operating in Dothan, Alabama and Enterprise, Alabama since 2009. It is owned and operated by 2 ambitious Audiologists, who work diligently to impact their community. Dr. Shumaker and Dr. Wilkes have over 42 years of combined experience offering comprehensive and innovative hearing health care treatment options.
· We set the bar for hearing health care. Our audiologists lead with science and care using evidence-based practices for every age. This means we often work collaboratively with other health care providers to ensure comprehensive, holistic hearing health care. Evidence-based practice is at the center of every decision we make and every treatment option we choose!
· We provide care in two locations, both in the office and throughout our community, serving our Veterans, Assisted Living facilities, and school systems.

Requirements:
· Motivated, outgoing, and charismatic audiologist ready to make an impact in the field of audiology and enjoys working as part of a team!
· Full-time (36 hours per week) preferred but willing to accept part time (24-28 hours per week)
· Clinical Skills:
o Diagnostics for adults and pediatrics, including audiometry, immittance, DPOAEs, and speech-in-noise testing.
o Cochlear implant evaluations and mappings (preferred but willing to train)
o Selection and fitting of hearing aids for pediatrics and adults, including programming, verification, and counseling
o Auditory processing evaluations for pediatrics and adults with rehabilitation/auditory training
o Ability to make aural rehabilitation plan
o Cerumen removal
o Tinnitus evaluations with management and counseling
